Patrick Ryan, PE

Project Manager, Plumbing Coordinator

Before joining the team in 2019 as a Plumbing Coordinator, Pat started out as an auto mechanic, but grew tired of the job and wanted to create and design, so he decided to attend the University of Alabama, graduating with a BSME degree. Pat is very happy with his career change and likes the fact that there is always something new to learn in the industry. Some of Pat’s highlights while working at McHugh have been team events, such as the 2020 ACE Giant Jenga Tournament and ASPE’s golf outings. Recently, we celebrated Pat receiving his Professional Engineering license in DE.

While not in the office, Pat loves spending time with his wife, daughter, and son. He enjoys cooking, playing golf, playing guitar, and messing around with electronics. Pat also has a love for the mountains, as he spent a lot of time growing up taking family trips up there, and his favorite foods are homemade pizza, homemade Ramen, and BBQ. When asked if he thinks the glass is half full or half empty, he says, “The engineer in me wants to say ½ full = ½ empty but the answer you are looking for is it’s not how full the glass is but what’s in it that matters.”
