The Ambler YMCA is a groundbreaking concept for the Greater Philadelphia YMCA in creating a super facility with room for growth and expansion. McHugh Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design for indoor pools, pool water features, an outdoor pool with water features and slides, multi-purpose gyms, an indoor track, weightlifting area, aerobics rooms, spinning rooms, classrooms, childcare, and administration offices. The building is designed for a future green roof. 

Our engineering design highlights include dehumidification units, an energy recovery unit, package rooftop units, split systems, duct furnaces, lighting sensors, lighting control system, an emergency generator, sensor operated fixtures including sensor operated showers in the family locker room to help parents with their children.
