This dormitory is six stories tall and has 410 beds. McHugh Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design for resident assistant rooms, wing study lounges, central lobbies, guest rooms, laundry, fitness facility, offices, storage areas, central wing toilet/bath areas, floor tele/data closet, main tele/data room, main mechanical room, loading dock area, and support spaces. 

Our engineering design highlights include vertical stack type water source heat pumps, energy recovery system, web based building automation system, demand limiting controls, smoke exhaust system, commissioning plan, specifications, project meetings, project inspections/ surveys, checklists, and coordination with contractors/owners for all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems and controls.
