This new construction 3-story health science building was constructed for the nursing and health sciences programs. We also provided a layout of campus plant utilities. McHugh Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design for classrooms, reception, labs, a fitness room, faculty offices, conference rooms, lounges, and Atrium spaces.
Our engineering design highlights include specifically energy recovery system, daylight harvesting, underground central plant hot and chilled water piping, central station VAV air handlers, VAV boxes with hot water reheat, lab compressed air system, nursing headwall systems, high voltage power from campus CHP plant, and medical gas infrastructure.
