Renovation/Addition of an existing fire house. McHugh Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design for engine bays, bunk area, engineers’ room, radio room, ready room, fire ops, offices, banquet hall, existing kitchen, and support spaces.

Our engineering design highlights include battery powered emergency lighting, new 400 Amp electric service, back feed existing panels, new 125 kW diesel generator for building back-up power, new ductless split system for Audio Room, relocating existing split system, HVAC in new addition, plumbing work to include relocation of existing laundry equipment and new toilet rooms for bunk area with (4) bunk rooms, engine bay trench draw system with oil interceptor, engine facility to be sprinklered (fire pump required).
