A BIG shout out to our team in the Cherry Hill office for participating in CANstruction, a design and build competition, benefiting The Food Bank of South Jersey. The theme this year was Milestone Moments, so our team created a 10-foot-tall champagne bottle representing the celebration of AIA New Jersey’s 125th year anniversary, AIA West Jersey’s 100th year anniversary, the South Jersey food bank’s 40th year anniversary, and Deptford Malls 50th year anniversary. All 2,675 cans that were stacked is a reason to celebrate, proving that with a little imagination (and a whole lot of legumes), you can make anything pop! This larger-than-life sculpture isn’t just a feast for the eyes, it’s also a reminder that even small acts of giving can build up to something huge. Designed to raise awareness for hunger relief, the display proves that food, art, and generosity can-spire to make a difference. So go ahead—take a moment to soak it all in and can-gratulate everyone involved!
