Villiger Hall is the newest dormitory on St. Joseph’s University’s campus. The building is six stories tall and has 410 beds. The spaces include resident assistant rooms, wing study lounges, central lobbies, guest rooms, laundry, fitness facility, offices, storage areas, central wing toilet/bath areas, floor tele/data closet, main tele/data room, main mechanical room, loading dock area, and support spaces. Design services for the facility include M/P/E/FP. Mechanical systems include vertical stack type water source heat pumps, energy recovery system, web based building automation system, demand limiting controls, smoke exhaust system. Fire protection systems include a fire pump wet/dry sprinkler system. The electrical systems include of an indoor diesel fired emergency generator, lighting controls, energy sub-metering. Commissioning services include commissioning plan, specifications, project meetings, project inspections/ surveys, checklists, and coordination with contractors/owners for all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems and controls.
