McHugh Engineering Associates, Inc. is proud to announce their office at 136 Poplar Street, Ambler, PA 19002 has achieved LEEDv4 O&M Existing Buildings Gold for recertification!

Eight years ago when the company decided it was going to relocate its office to downtown Ambler, PA, the owners of the company wanted to make a statement about its commitment to the environment and to best building practices. At the time, MEA found a great location and embarked upon building a LEED Silver building.  The company did not want the commitment to end at the completion of construction. As many people know it is one thing to build it, it is another to maintain it. MEA continued its effort by submitting its energy data and measurements for proof. For the next 5 years the company earned the Energy Star Label submitting its energy data along the way. To continue the effort MEA decided to apply for recertification and achieved it. It is great honor and MEA looks forward to continuing its efforts going forward.
