A LITTLE ABOUT US
McHugh Engineering Associates, Inc. was established in 1981 as a multi-discipline consulting engineering company offering design and energy related services for commercial, institutional, educational, ecclesiastical, healthcare, retail, municipal, and industrial projects. Since then we have been providing designs of mechanical and electrical systems for a variety of structures for various architects and owners. Areas of application include heating, ventilating, air conditioning, geothermal, energy recovery, LEED, lighting, power, fire alarm, plumbing, fire protection and miscellaneous associated system designs and specifications.
Since 1981 approximately 4,500 projects of varying size and complexity have been undertaken and completed, mostly in the Delaware Valley area. Principals of the firm are Steven G. Griet, PE, LEED AP, Brian F. Malloy, PE and Michael Witkowski, PE, LEED BD+C.
Our clients consist mainly of architects, owners and developers. Project experience includes hospitalities, churches, office buildings, community centers, YMCA’s, recreational, gymnasiums/field houses, multi-family dwellings, residence halls, dormitories, medical facilities, non-profits, higher education, assisted living facilities, educational, automobile dealerships, industrial facilities, retail establishments, restaurants, banks, institutional, and municipal buildings. Capabilities include new design as well as renovation and retrofit, existing systems analysis, reports, building assessments, due diligence reports, LEED, energy related studies, “Green” applications, building energy model, and commissioning services.
